Structural Rehabilitation: Why?

As you know, we are NOT a conventional Chiropractic office - conventional chiropractors are nice folks and I am not saying we are better - just very different. Most of the chiropractors in West Hartford are what I define as conventional (they look to decrease pain, increase movement and decrease muscle spasm - all well and good).
So why then does a Structural Chiropractor (only a handful in the country do what I do) use Structural Rehabilitation along with Complementary Recommendations? Plain and simple; If

Results Matter Then So Does The Technique.
Our goal is to correct or at least improve your structure closer to the normal range. This is important because no one wants that rounded shoulder or '
Granny Hump " appearance.  Not only is this unattractive it is also abnormal and will lead to twice the normal rate in spinal degeneration - which then leads to Secondary Conditions of back, neck pain, headaches, migraines, and many others.

Remember normal ranges are found in every body function from eye sight to cholesterol levels and your spine.

How Strong Is Your Foundation
So when we get your spine closer to normal this will give you the appealing symmetry with out the Granny Hump AND not only help you to feel better, but help slow down the degeneration of your spine.
Conventional Chiropractic DOES NOT move the spine closer to normal - our focus is to Detect and then Correct and Structural abnormalities that we find with our Three Scientific Objective Indicators that you or any healthcare professional that knows normal anatomy would agree is not normal.
The structural rehab is designed to concentrate our efforts on changing the ligaments. We all learned the Ligaments hold the vertebrae or spinal bones together and are usually injured and require our specific care for structural correction closer to normal range.
That is the why our care includes Structural Rehab and Complementary Recommendations.

Have a GREAT Day!
